Coaching is not merely a technique to be wheeled out and rigidly applied in certain prescribed circumstances. It is a way of managing, a way of treating people, a way of thinking, a way of being. Coaching programmes are interval based with about four to five weeks between each session, thus providing time for reflection. From time to time coaching sessions maybe followed up with a summary of the discussion, allied to any agreed course of action.
