Nicholas Watkins
Nicholas Watkins, a university qualified executive and business coach, spent the last five years as the Chief Executive Officer at Swindon Town FC. He is a seasoned business leader with a very varied professional background, combining successful careers in the media, leisure and sports industries, together with a number of years spent in the world of senior executive search, senior executive coaching and strategy management.
As chief executive, main board member and non-executive director for a number of public and private companies, often with complex board structures, he has a unique experience of business and business people.
Nicholas gained early insight into the art of leadership and development whilst training on HMS Conway, the pre-sea training establishment, located by the Menai Straits, on the Isle of Anglesey. A seven year stint as Navigating Officer in the Merchant Navy followed, before embarking upon a long and successful career in business, culminating in the creation of Q4 Management Limited, which now focuses on the provision of mentoring, coaching and consultancy services to business and business people, primarily within the family business, professional services, private equity, and the sports sector. Nicholas is an Associate with AndCoaching, a member of the Prudential Coaching Faculty, a partner in Leaders Matter, a specialist advisory firm to Family Business and a Board member of the Excalibur Academies Trust. He delivers regular talks on career planning and career management.
Michael Schofield
Is an Associate Tutor with both the London School of Business & Finance and The University of Chester and has delivered Leadership and Coaching programmes for LFC ELITES and The Jaguar Academy of Sport.
He is a University accredited Coach and is in his 12th year of providing one to one and group Leadership coaching in organisations such as Virgin Media, Boots PLC, NHS, Aer Lingus and is a member of the coaching framework for UK Sport, providing coaching support for CEO’s and Chairs of Sports bodies across the UK.
Michael has also held Senior Roles in a Blue Chip environment with responsibility for over 50 people and annual budgets in excess of £20m. He has led high performing teams to National recognition and understands what it takes to achieve success in a competitive environment. His commercial and financial experience leaves him well placed to translate coaching input into results on the bottom line for a business.
